B-Chopper – the time has come to "reveal the cards"!

Ранее опубликованные мной материалы о постройке моего мотоцикла B-CHOPPER были размещены с интервалом примерно в год. И теперь я буду выкладывать  продолжение моей работы уже с интервалом в два/три года. Этому способствовали различные причины, но всё это время мотоцикл продолжал строиться.

В начале каждой статьи я буду указывать дату описанных ниже материалов.
The materials about construction of my B-CHOPPER motorcycle which are earlier published by me have been placed with an interval approximately in a year. And now I will spread continuation of my work already with an interval in two/three years. It was promoted by various reasons, but all this time the motorcycle continued to be under construction.
At the beginning of each article I will specify date of the materials described below.

После того как основная часть рамы была сделана я начал примерку основных элементов которые могли обозначить силуэт будущего мотоцикла – передняя подвеска, колёса и бензобак.
After the main part of the frame was done I started fitting the main elements which could identify the silhouette of the future of motorcycle front suspension, the wheels and the gas tank.

Уже тогда мне хотелось сделать мотоцикл с достаточно маленьким дорожным просветом, но взятая за основу рама rigid HD не позволила мне сделать это в полной мере.
Even then, I wanted to make a motorcycle with a sufficiently small ground clearance, but together with the underlying rigid frame HD did not allow me to do so.

Первые фотографии сразу показали многое, что станет потом достоинством конструкции и недостатком.
The first pictures just showed a lot of what will become later the dignity of design and a disadvantage.

Так же я прекрасно понимал главное, что учитывают далеко не все строители чопперов это  - хорошо выглядящий мотоцикл с наездником и без него. Сколько раз я встречал очень качественно сделанные аппараты, превращавшиеся в самокаты  с сидящим  сверху "бегемотом".

Особенно это касается людей ростом выше 170 см. И эти самые первые фотографии показали, что я выгляжу как "бегемот на велосипеде".

Тем более что оппозитный двигатель не позволяет вытянуть ноги вперёд как у V - образных ДВС, что создаёт еще более сложную задачу. И важно учитывать индивидуальность именно того кто будет ездить на чоппере.

Только сейчас я понимаю что это одна из самых длительных процедур которая заняла у меня около года.

Only now I realize that this is one of the most time-consuming procedures which took me about a year.
