In 1997, the factory workers created chopper retro IMZ-8.1230 "Cobra" with "dry" frame and 720-cc engine. This machine did not recognize the bikers, and collected 16 units long stood at the factory warehouse.

The exact number of motorcycles is not even known at the factory. It was the first motorcycle which created specially for bikers, which in itself  is amazing . In the nineties, this was possible because the plant was on the verge of collapse. In the small amount of information says that the bike " not accepted " and so the production of IMZ-Ural-8.1230 "Cobra" was decided to close .
I like the bike , of course it's not perfect but had a right to exist, which is limited to a few instances. According to different data has a surprising number of pieces and outside Russia. And you can look at it in
"Irbit State Museum of motorcycles" in Irbit.
