SACRED STEEL BIKES follows a diverse group of elite individuals who come from a multitude of careers. From an Automotive Engineer to a Metal Fabricator to a high-end Beverly Hills Retail Associate, artisans from all spectrums of life are united in their passion for bike building and riding. The club has granted them a motorcycle oasis to live out their alter egos.
Jason Wilson opened shop with Sacred Steel over a decade ago and never looked back, crafting custom fabricated high-end choppers and painstakingly restoring American classics. From humble beginnings, Jason and his motley crew of misfit friends honed their mechanical skills and founded 

Douche Larouche, now a full-fledged institution, complete with bylaws, regular meetings and in chapters across the country and around the globe. The members have built a tight-knit brotherhood who have each-others back all while having the time of their lives.

Each year, Jason and the team transform dozens of bikes into masterpieces. If the customer has the cash or the connections, there is no limit on what they can do. Through favors to other members, neighboring chapters, and friends of friends, Jason has grown an immense clientele alongside his wild crew. SACRED STEEL BIKES captures the build along with the adrenalin-fueled world of bikers. The guys are as loud as their bikes - and enjoy having fun along the ride.

Как и большинство людей, я люблю, когда мне делают подарки. Причём особенно ценю подарки нематериальные – вещам предпочитаю эмоции, ощущения, воспоминания. То, что не сломается, не потеряется, не придёт в негодность. В этом году ко дню рождения Аня решила подарить мне фотосессию. Поскольку я недостаточно самовлюблён, чтобы долго крутиться перед объективом, фотосессия предполагала участие только жены и наших мотоциклов.

Like most people, I like to make gifts. And especially appreciate the intangible gifts – things prefer emotions, sensations, memories. Something that is not broken, not lost, not unusable. This year's birthday Anya decided to give me a photo shoot. Because I'm not narcissistic to long to spin in front of the lens, the photo shoot involved only my wife, and our motorcycles.

Мы пригласили фотографа Александра Батыру, особенно известного работами для журналов «Мото» и «За рулём». Родился я ранней весной, когда на улице холодно и не живописно: договорились провести съёмку в нашем гараже, благо размер помещения позволяет свободно разместить всё необходимое оборудование.

We invited photographer Alexander Batyr, especially famous for his works for the magazine "Moto" and "Behind the wheel". I have born in early spring, when the weather is cold and not picturesque: it was agreed to organize a photo shoot in our garage, good size of the room allows freely to place all the necessary equipment.

Накануне мероприятия я тщательно вымыл мотоциклы и пол, вытащил всё лишнее. В назначенное время прибыли фотограф со стилистом, и работа закипела. За три часа, что Аню причёсывали, красили и одевали, Саша расставил осветительные приборы, а я помогал на подхвате.

On the eve of the event, I thoroughly washed the motorcycle and floor, has pulled out all the excess. At the appointed time arrived the photographer, the stylist, and went to work. For three hours, which she combed, dyed and dressed, Sasha placed lighting, and I help.

Как и ожидалось, Батыру оказался профессионалом высочайшего класса! Причём это касается не только Сашиных талантов художника, но и его методов работы с моделью. Не успел я и глазом моргнуть, как Аня осталась в одних сапогах. Я вам клянусь: Батыру очень хорошо умеет уговорить женщину раздеться :)

As expected, the Alexander Batyr was a professional of the highest class! And this applies not only Alexander's talent of the artist, but also his methods of work. Я впервые присутствовал при профессиональной фотосессии… Интересные впечатления! Во-первых, это действительно тяжёлый труд. Батыру заставлял Аню принимать совершенно противоестественные, страшно неудобные позы, которые на фотографиях смотрятся на удивление изящно и легко. При этом требовал изображать разнообразные эмоции, и моя героическая супруга старалась изо всех сил показать восторг, испуг или кокетство, хотя с трудом балансировала, чтобы не упасть с мотоцикла, а выступающие железки иногда больно впивались в тело.

The first time I was present at a professional photo shoot... Interesting experience! First, it is really hard work. Batyr forced Anya to take completely unnatural, terrible uncomfortable positions, which in the photos look surprisingly nice and easy. It required to portray a variety of emotions, and my heroic wife tried my best to show excitement, fear or flirtatiousness, though with difficulty balanced so as not to fall off the bike, and the protruding glands sometimes painful dug into the body.

Во-вторых, удивила рабочая атмосфера, полное отсутствие ощущения чего-то неприличного или стыдного, хотя на нашей модели было совсем мало одежды (или не было вовсе). После первого лёгкого смущения мы все погрузились в рабочий процесс. Анечка старательно принимала нужные позы, Батыру метался по гаражу, падал на пол, вскакивал, переставлял и перенастраивал свет, снова метался. Я тоже не загорал и выполнял все приказы фотографа: дай удлинитель, принеси картонку, подвинь мотоцикл, убери стул, подержи прожектор. Каждый делал своё дело, а краснеть и смущаться было попросту некогда. Так в течение восьми часов Саша и Аня творили свои шедевры.

Second, surprised working atmosphere, complete absence of feeling something indecent or shameful, although our model had very little clothes (or not there at all). After the first slightly embarrassed we all loaded up in the workflow. Anna carefully took the right pose, the Batyr rushed through the garage, fell on the floor, jumped up, rearranged and adjusted the light again, rushed. I was working too and complied with all orders of the photographer, give an extension cord, bring a piece of cardboard, move the bike, get a chair, hold the spotlight. Everyone did their job, and blush and be embarrassed there was simply no time. So within eight hours of Sasha and Anya worked their masterpieces.

 Ещё несколько месяцев ушло на финишную обработку фотографий, и вот теперь я могу поделиться результатом с оппозитной общественностью – естественно, с полного Аниного согласия и одобрения. С тех пор меня не раз успели спросить: зачем тебе это? «Тебя, - говорят, - Не смущает, что кто-то увидит твою жену?» Кто-то даже упрекнул в разврате… Я это не очень понимаю.

Still a few months left to finish processing photos, and now I can share the result with two public – of course, with Anya's full consent and approval. Since then I have not once had to ask: why are you doing this? "You say, embarrassed that someone will see your wife?" Somebody even accused of debauchery... I don't really understand.

Вот если бы я сам снял жену на мобильник и в интернет выложил, это было бы некрасиво, глупо и пошло. Но я убеждён, что Сашины работы имеют отношение к искусству, к прекрасному: красивая женщина, красивые мотоциклы, красивые кадры. Мне кажется, что оставлять это богатство только для своих глаз было бы преступлением.

Now, if I photographed his wife on the mobile phone and the Internet have posted, it would be ugly, stupid and vulgar. But I am convinced that Sasha works are related to art, to beautiful: beautiful woman, beautiful bikes, beautiful shots. It seems to me that to leave this wealth only for their eyes it would be a crime.

К тому же, через каких-нибудь лет двадцать – если сильно повезёт – нам с женой будет за 60, и выглядеть мы, к сожалению, будем несколько иначе. От мотоциклов тоже не известно, что к тому времени останется. Так пусть наши фотографии заживут собственной жизнью, пусть моя Аня будет на них вечно молодой, грациозной и сексуальной, а мотоциклы – новыми и блестящими. Пусть эти картинки кого-нибудь порадуют, может быть даже сделают этот мир немножко красивее и лучше. Мы их отпускаем в свободное плавание по океану интернета.
